Michelle Robinson is the international bestselling, award-winning author of picture books including The World Made a Rainbow, She Rex, There’s a Lion in my Cornflakes, A Beginner’s Guide to Bearspotting, Grandmas from Mars, the Goodnight Spaceman series and many, many more. Michelle has written over 40 books and dreamed of being a children’s author since she was five! In 2021, she moved from England to Tatamagouche with her husband and two children.
Book Readings for Kids – Ages 5 – 7
During the day she will be reading some of her best sellers including – When Jelly Had a Wobble, When Cucumber Lost his Cool and The Day Banana Went Bad – and she might even dress up as a banana!!! Michelle will be reading some of her silly and fun storybooks at 11am, 1pm and 3pm (on Saturday), 11am and 1pm (on Sunday) with the opportunity to purchase signed copies of these and some of her other amazing tales!
This event is in conjunction with Ashton’s Garden Centre’s Daffodil Walk and Spring Celebration – Tickets apply to the Daffodil Walk (Kids go free with accompanying adult), Attendance to book readings is free.
Fun for the Kids
Let the kids run free and enjoy the great outdoors. With magical signs along the Daffodil walk, a free scavenger hunt and colouring sheet they’re sure to have fun! Plus Vana will be joining us with her beautiful Angora Bunnies – feel there super soft fur and maybe get a photo with them and the kids.
